Measuring the area honestly

For a driveway, measure boundary to garage door down the middle of the run, times the width, and include the crossover strip to the road. Flares at the garage and paths that pour with the driveway count too. For patios and surrounds, length times width of each rectangle and add them up; the measure does not need to be perfect, the site visit makes it exact.
